I wanted to make a joke of some sort but this really isn't funny at all. I'm sure this won't mess his fighting career up since people know how shit goes down with foreign authorities, but I hope he's able to get some justice. Looks like the definition of excessive force needs to be revisited.

These guys (securities, bodyguards and such) are really scumbags in here (Brazil). I can't say it about ALL of them, but pretty much 90% of these guys are criminals trying to make a living out of beating people randomly - just like the cops around here do.

i think he was insinuating more that fighters seem to be more celebrity status in Brazil and thus maybe less likely to get jumped. maybe he meant it the way you took it tho i did at first too
