He has the genetics.... he has only loss 5 times all by decisions, 3 split decisions, his fight with nemkov could of gone either way.... he’s 36 and still doing well. Never been stopped

He's never been the champ but he's won a lot of good fights, taken a lot of big names, and still has a little bit more time to get some more wins. There's no argument that he's a bust.

Davis has one of the greatest chins ever, never wobbled or dropped

He doesnt make adjustments in fights and hasn't grown his fighting style. Still could be great even though hes near the end just cause he has a ton of talent

His striking never really progressed well, always been a top wrestler. Sometimes especially on the feet its like he's in third gear and doesn't up it easy to say that from an onlooker obviously. He might actually be able to beat the best ufc lightheavys today Jan, Santos, Reyes he dominated Glover.

His striking is pretty basic and toothless. He doesn’t always use his wrestling when he should.

That said, there isn’t an active LHW that I would count him out against. Even a couple that have wins over him. Granted, that says more about the quality of the “top LHW’s” post Jones, DC, and Rumble

He has a very dominant top game and he’s a skilled submission grappler..but his takedowns aren’t dominant against other wrestlers.
