Francis will probably make more in one gimmick boxing match in October, than he would in the remainder of his UFC career, had he stayed. And if PFL folds, so what? All that means is Francis is free to negotiate with the UFC again, after having gotten his big payday in boxing. No matter the outcome, Dana Stans are going to go through whatever mental gymnastics they have to, to support the argument that Francis made the wrong choice.

If the the Saudi Arabians start an MMA organization or invest in one they can and will put the UFC out of business. They will pay Fighters much more than the UFC and Bellator are willing to. It would take about 10 years IMO because they would have to wait for contracts to expire and to sign the top up and comers but if that's what they want they can do it.

PFL definitely need more help if they are going to merge with Bellator. Think they should also try to merge with Onefc and go for a super promotion that can compete better with UFC.

they need to minus the first hour of talking. get to the fights. maybe do something different. ten minute first round. yellow cards.

I remember being this naive as well, when I was 8.

"The Professional Fighters League is seeking sovereign wealth fund investments, according to the mixed martial arts league’s founder and chairman Donn Davis."

IF PFL fails to raise funds would it mean Ngannou fumbled the bag?

I mean alot of people getting that Arab money ...why shouldn't PFL..

As long as it goes to larger pay days and tournament rewards its a good thing...

You don't throw away money to start up a promotion in MMA. We all seen it before. You got to put on exciting shows but you cannot be too much of a big fan of the sport.

Wow...lots of insight in that post. Maybe if you left your parents basement and stopped watching cnn and porn you you'd actually be able to express some thoughts. They did change golf with relative ease so why can't they with mma???

They are spending crazy amounts of money for a niche thing. As with all the MMA orgs, they will all go under, I've seen it all before, lots of them. Unless they are a proper MMA org like King of the Cage who pay a few hundred for most fighters and the odd thousand here and there for some top main card bouts, they won't survive. PFL giving big money to the likes of Juan Adams is criminal, when he is dreadful and has very little skill and talent, he is slower than the current Bigfoot Silva or the same speed.
