good for Michaud. he’s a solid fighter & never should’ve been that huge an underdog here
 
Color me surprised. I did not thing Michaud was quite good enough anywhere to dominate Ferriera.

Yeah I have the feeling he'd fare about as well as Jorge Santiago. One of the best outside but very beatable in the big leagues.
 
Wats the difference between the crucifex and the Salaverry?

Wow. That was a good scrap. The big underdog Michaud gets the 6 points! There was about 20 + unanswered blows after he got the crucifix. Good stoppage.
 
Ferrerira was stuck in position, but those punches were not very hard. Kinda think the stoppage was premature.
 
Ferierra will most likely still end up in the tournament though. As long as Howard and Bojan don't win.
 
But I think the main takeaway is that Ferrierra looked really languid in that fight.
