Pettis was recently the first and only person to KO Wonderboy, while Nate has a 4 year ring rust

    Not sure where you're seeing him as the favorite

    Well I see him as the favorite because Pettis wilts under pressure and who pressures more then the Diaz bros?

    Also Pettis beating Wonderboy was a fluke IMO.

    That would mean something if Diaz fought anything like Wonder does
    <JagsKiddingMe>

    Wonder is evasive and allows space which is how Pettis likes to fight too

    Tony Ferguson but I think Diaz's pressure, size/height is going to cause Pettis problems.

    I thought Pettis was the favorite? And Nate has been out for 3 years, not 4.

    Also ... the guy constantly trains in triathalons and did a fair amount of a fight camp recently for a potential bout against Dustin Poirier. He may not have been fighting, but he's probably been pretty active in training. I don't really expect the time off to make a huge difference.

    I see this as a pretty even fight. Pettis with the better striking and power, but Nate with the constant pressure and cardio. Either Pettis finishes early, or Nate takes over midway through round 2 and finishes a gassed Pettis.

    Yeah I think Tony is like an evolved version of the Diaz bros.

    Mixes in kicks as well and tough as nails.

    Pettis was clearly losing to Wonderboy and has lost 6 of his last 10 fights.

    Still, I think he beats Diaz in a close decision.

    He’s not the favorite. He definitely, however, has many paths to victory. He would more so if this was 5 rounds. Nate should never be counted out. I lean Pettis, but Nate will be in good shape. Rust is different with a guy who never lets himself go.

    I see Diaz outlasting Pettis and wearing him down. One does not simply KO a Diaz
