Could be considering that Pettis at least has had a full camp preparing for a tough as nails grappler in Michael Chiesa, so he should be better prepared for Khabib than Max would have been. Not that it's likely to make a bit of difference in the eventual outcome. Khabib will be crowned the new lightweight champion tomorrow night but Pettis might actually be somewhat more competitive than Max would have been. We shall see.
Also, this opens up the possibility of us seeing Max vs Ortega relatively soon as well.

I think so,

Pettis has had a full camp at least.

I don't want to see Max fight Khabib on six days notice - save that for when they are both ready.

the difference is, post USADA pettis is complete crap. but yeah, neither are good options since holloway was coming off an injury, overweight and what not

Pettis is notorious for succumbing to pressure. Do you dudes even watch fights?

Can't believe Holloway pulled out, lost all respect for him

Better subs but that’s about it

Pettis will only fight Khabib if they schedule it for 3pm time-slot

Pettis, on paper at least, is basically just handing Khabib the title. At least Holloway is durable enough to potentially make it interesting for a bit.

He didn't pull out you fuck tard he was removed by the ufc doctors, he wanted to finish his weight cut but they wouldn't let him.

terrible fight.
pettis has no chance against wrestlers.

The weight-ins stopped while Pettis and Iaquinta are still over 155, they can't fight for the belt.

No need to answer it’s rhetorical. You’ve been in full retard mode since your boy lost his shit yesterday.

Every one of them.
I didn't say that it was an ideal situation. I just said that it might wind up being a slightly more competitive fight rather than having a fighter who'd only had six days notice & had trouble making the weight cut. Obviously, Max would be the better choice if he'd had proper time to prepare for Khabib.

Ideally, I'd rather see Felder step into the title fight w/ Khabib since he made championship weight & for Pettis & Iaquinta to fight each other on the undercard.
