Don't see how Pettis wins this matchup..

Thompson wins easily a boring point striking match

Talking about size and weight, this fight is kinda wack to think of set it up...

Will watch.

Pettis should really stay in his lane, he looked good in the Tony fight.

Pettis is out of his mind. Fun fight for sure but his chances seem slim to none. Unless he has some sneaky sub up his sleeve.

It just doesn't make sense. Pettis likes to work at range and outside boxing distance but he'll never get it with wonderboy's reach. He's just going to get jabbed to death unless I'm not seeing something

They should just make it a full on TMA vs TMA match.

If it's part of a 165lbs tourney to start that weight class, I'm open.

Stephens is a true MW and Pettis is a true LW, great idea

and no credit as Pettis is a past prime FW, Thompson should be pushing for covington or polzinibio.
If pettis somehow wins dominantly though he'll be next in line for a TS.

Dumb matchup I rather Wonderboy vs Ponzi or RDA if Pettis wants a ww bout he can fight Maia or if he's booked maybe a Gunnar/Magny

Make it at 165, the fighters and the fans want the division(not sure why Pettis wants to compete in it though he's fine at 155).

What if Pettis ends up weighing more on fight night like Chiesa did against Condit?
What if?? lol.
Pettis is a small lightweight that has even fought in featherweight and you're suggesting that would missed weight in a welterweight bout ?

I'll watch it but it a pretty shit match imo, where both guys are just trying to stall there place in their respective division. Pettis especially should be fighting down vs someone on a hot streak, but wonderboy too.

I never said he would miss weight, Chiesa never missed weight he just weighed more than Condit on fight night. Pettis missed weight at 145 and might be having trouble making 155 who knows.

That last fight, really fucked Pettis' head up. This is a stupid decision on his part. He's gonna get destroyed.

Again, Pettis is a small lightweight, Wonderboy is a big welterweight... expecting that Pettis weights more the Thompson on fight night got no sense. The fight got no sense in first place.

False. Stephens doesn't cut very much weight and he doesn't carry any muscle at all, he is not that large for the division. Till is.
