This is one of the dumbest takes. If you openly and actively represent a country then yes, you are involved in a war that this country is waging.
Anything other than strong opposition is going to be taken as an agreement, especially considering conscription that's pulling in seemingly random males at the moment.
Every Russian is the enemy, If they don't want to be seen as subhuman then they need to stop the war from the inside.
