When do these guys get a step up fight? Especially Anthony who I think is the real deal. It's time for them to step away from the Friday Night Fights and give Anthony somebody like Khan, Diaz, or Casamayor, or even bump up to 140. They both came on the scene around the same time as Berto, but haven't been promoted as well.

Anthony has been inactive for about a year now. He is fighting on the 15th of august against a less than stellar opponent. I wonder if his last couple of fights shook his confidence at all.

Yea I saw that he is fighting a can. Guy has all the talent in the world IMO, and should be facing top 10 opponents. I noticed he has been inactive is it due to injury?

I honestly dont know. I do know that before his last couple of fights he was brimming with confidence, and now we havent heard from him in a year.

The problem is they're not THAT good. You want to look at a pair of prospect Brothers who appear to be more than what these guys are, check out the Velasquez Brothers.

You dont think Anthony could hang with the top lightweights? I think he would beat somebody like Khan and most would call it an upset even though I think he's more talented....

Nah. There's something about the Petersons, like they're destined to hit glass ceilings. I wouldn't put money on them to beat anyone at the top of Lightweight, which currently does not include Amir Kahn.
