Peter Dinklage blasts Disney about Snow White and The Seven dwarfs, Disney reponse...

You can't win, if you use dwarves someone complains, if you don't, someone else complains. Maybe don't make another version of a fairytale from the 1800's. Maybe try to make something original.

...and maybe don't pick an imbecile activist that can't keep her mouth shut as their lead.

Who would have thought that a woke company like Disney trying to cash in on a movie that is LITERALLY about white supremacy would experience backlash.

Dinklage got wrecked after by all the dwarf actors in Hollywood who make a pretty good living playing dwarf parts. he spoke about a group of them approaching him and telling him while he had the privilege, he earned to get roles outside that stereotype they did not want him ruining what a was a pretty good gig for them.
Yep, I remember that. The epitome of blowback from virtue signaling.

I remember the diversity "dwarf" photo that everyone sneered at, of which they said wasnt the 7 dwarfes. Dinklage speaks up, no midgets get hired, and CGI to the rescue...and it looks BAD.

I'm picturing it being really shiddy like when they cgi'd new E.T. scenes into the original movie or changed Jabba the Hut and the space explosions to cgi in the original Star Wars movies.

Although, with all the video computer processing in film these days they're all starting to look cgi'd anyway, so it could work I guess.

Are there any videos or pictures of this yet?

I won't argue that. I'm just sick of remaking the same shit over and over

Just wait until they start making new animated versions of their live-action "classics".

It'll happen. Mark my words.

I still can't belive how big of a cunt Peter dinkage is

Gets paid to play a midget role and then doesn't want anyone else to get life changing money for doing the same. Fuck that guy right in the ear.

And how the hell is it a harmful stereotype. Hard working working class bros that are in a tight crew. They are the most oi fairytale characters of all time and those all seem like positive traits.

Yeah, way to pull the ladder up so none of your fellow dwarves can get to the same level of success you enjoy, Peter.

The annoying thing is, prior to this, I actually liked Dinkage. Life gave him lemons so he made enough lemonade to fill a swimming pool.

Snow White

Most people were probably expecting much lower public ratings. I suppose the ratings could be really fake. The reviews are pretty mixed, but overall more positive than was probably expected.

Critics say the latest Disney remake isn't exactly the fairest of them all, but it's a welcome update that takes chances and benefits from a magical lead performance.

As it turns out, this is one of the better live-action adaptations of a Disney animated feature. And I say that as someone who mostly doesn’t like them. — Owen Gleiberman, Variety

It is far from a disaster. It’s one of the better ones, in fact. — Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune

Few of Disney’s live-action remakes have been worthwhile, but by centering the fight for kindness in the face of adversity, Snow White channels the very best of them: Kenneth Branagh’s 2015 take on Cinderella. — Siddhant Adlakha, IGN Movies

Snow White doesn’t quite crack the top-tier… but it lands solidly in the upper end of the spectrum, alongside movies like Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, and Cruella. — David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter

The fairest of them all? Not quite, but it is certainly not the worst remake. — Susan Kamyab, This Chix Flix

I would rather rewatch this Snow White than the 1937 flick. — Manuel São Bento, FandomWire

Snow White is more clearly made for children than most of the other Disney live-action remakes, and its focus on being a fairytale helps with that goal. — Daniel Bayer, AwardsWatch

It represents a new low for cultural desecration and for a venerable 102-year-old entertainment company that now looks at its source material with a pinched nose of disgust. — Kevin Maher, Times (UK)
