Perfect example of CTE

Yoel Romero 9 years ago. Decent english for it not being his native langauge.

Yoel romero 4 years later. Speaks like a 2 year old still struggling to form a sentence.

He always spoke English like that since it is his 3rd language also he came into ufc in his mid 30s so harder to learn languages esp for a cuban.

1st one was post fight interview from lyota machida fight. Ufc 194.

2nd one was post fight interview against izzy. Ufc 248.

Thank you.
Didn't get hit much in either fight.
Maybe he was tired because Izzy did all that running ^^
Na it's CTE

Yolo lives in Miami, which is like an extension of Cuba, where Spanish is widely spoken, so he doesn't really need English in his daily life. He's also pretty eloquent in Spanish, despite coming from Pinar Del Rio, which is kind of like the Mississippi of Cuba

Which is the 2nd?
he defected to Germany in 2007 and he lived there until 2012 or something. I have no idea how well he speaks German but I definitely remember him during some of his first UFC fight preshows peppering his speech to his wife, who he met in Germany, with some German words.

Nam Phan. That is all.
One guy dedicating his life to get it?
What's next?

No more cars because someone systematically drives it full speed into a tree?
Again and again. Hell, I lost two friends from that before I could even drive one myself.

He obviously had the first speech planned and was trying to wing the second.

I know a bit of spanish and could easily prepare 4-5 sentences that sound decent, but if i tried to go off script I'd sound dumber than Goldberg.

Probably got 90% from Robert Whittaker

imagine getting beat like this, then forced to do an immediate interview in a foreign language, where you have to have good answers quickly or else.

That would be unfortunate. But I think this was a photo taken in the hospital and posted to social media. I don't think it's a photo from an interview.
