Is my memory off or were his fights with Mir and JDS some of the most one sided beat downs in UFC history?
I dont think Mir was, the first round was quite active and competitive if I recall (then it turned into a horrible snoozefest). JDS and Werdum lit him up pretty bad though. @steve If not for an awful standup by a retarded ref Nelson was gonna be Arlovski.
He has the power to end fights with one shot. Even if he isn't better than the guys he lost to he's still a risky fight.
I haven't-- I remember Nelson was winning that fight until a bullshit standup because Elite XC was a joke. The man just KO'd somebody. Let him have his moment.
it's been years since I last seen that fight, but didn't Nelson kinda get shafted in that fight with EliteXC's 30 second stand-up rule? I might be thinking of some other fight, but didn't Nelson have AA in a sub and then ref broke it up and forced a stand-up?
Lol come on. Big Country is so much better than when he first fought Andrei, and Andrei has glass chin, while Roy has iron chin. That'd be a 1st round finish for Roy.
andre has only been knocked out by beasts roy might be able to knock him out, but we know that andrei can definitely knock out roy too
He was robbed against Andrei. He had him in side control and got stood up. It was the most blatant abuse of the rules and no surprise at all from the corrupt Elite XC company. Go watch it again if you do not believe me.
Yeah Roy. Because they either lost terribly, or beat you so convincingly that it wouldn't prove anything to do it again.
