If you didn't appreciate Garbrandt vs Cruz then you are not a real mma fan. That fight was a masterclass. A real mma fight.

100% of heavyweights would wish to have even half the skill displayed in that fight.

Yes, as long as it isn't DJ division because it's actually bad. I'm excited as fuck for his fight with TJ.

I watch the fights that interest me, regardless of weight class. What does that make me?

    Derp.
That actually applies more to the higher less skilled weight classes. The heavier weight classes are more popular(just like Taylor Swift) but they don't have the substance.

I don't think you, or anyone else is qualified to tell others who is and is not a "real MMA fan".

The beauty of freedom of choice. We don't all have to be the same.

Watch and enjoy the fights YOU like and stop trying to tell others what they should be doing.

I don't get why people moan so much about weight classes.....there's a market for all of them so just watch what you're interested in and pipe down ;-)

the heavier weightclasses have less skill. That is a fact. The top mma athletes are in the lower weightclasses because they don't have any other sport to participate in. The best athletes above MW are playing basketball and football.

that is also subjective depending on how much you weight each skill.

IE, many people favor knock out power over hopping around and "using movement" for 25 minutes.

Yes, being quick is a skill....but so is having big power. And at the end of the day any HW whoops any BW's ass. So to me that means that size/weight/reach are all more valuable than "using movement"
