People who bring dogs to public indoor places

On my last flight, I flew in First class, and the seat across the aisle from me had a Woman. She had bought a separate first-class seat for her Leonberger dog. It was enormous, but it just lay on the floor and didn't make a peep the whole flight. I pet him, and he was a really nice dog. The woman said she worries he's too big for a crate, and may overheat, and had him trained to fly in a plane. Here's what they look if you've never seen one. They are water dogs. Like a mix of a Newfoundland and a German Shepherd.

Holy crap, that almost looks like an AI pic. Must cost a fortune to feed these guys.

I am always annoyed when folks put a fake service dog vest on an untrained dog and they end up being loud and peeing all over a restaurant

The hog on that thing is probably that size of that womans leg.

I have to say, too many people with large, untrained dogs bringing them into stores and malls and claiming “muh service dawg” are annoying. I don’t care to have a random dog jumping all over me at the mall.

How about this dog?

I never understood the Great Dane thing until I had to help corral one that was loose in the street and try to get it back to its house. They are really docile and pretty funny, I kind of get it now though I would still never own one. They don't seem to have any idea how big they are and it's totally bull in a china shop lol.

No one likes an intrusive or yappy dog.
I have seen them plenty, it's annoying.
That said, they allow smaller/medium sized dogs here in all malls.
Works out well enough, dude loves the mall & attention: friendly & low key.
Good ice breaker & wingman.

I've had to strap and unstrap crated pets in the holds of planes before, and I absolutely hated it every single time.

Heartbreaking.

I had a Leo for 15 amazing years. She was a love, but I wouldn't be rude to others to take her on a plane. She shed, and I am not selfish enough to ignore some people have allergies, or are afraid of dogs. That being said, I have no doubt she wouldn't have been better behaved than the humans I observe lately. And the crazy part? It's all women. Shaniquas and Karens out wreaking havoc. Shaniquas are literally eating their whole meals and then refusing to pay the bill or flat out jetting. I see this all the time. It's so prevalent, places are putting in dress codes to exclude them (No sneakers, bonnets, sweats, hoodies). And Karens not afraid to make a scene if something isn't perfect, even in a chain. Like bitch, this is a fucking Applebee's not Morton's. The food sucks no matter how it comes out.

A couple of friends of mine used to have a Leonberger. Awesome dogs.

i don't care, honestly, I'd rather sit next to a dog than a human but I'm weird.
