People in LA, Advice on an area

886 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, California, USA 90005
4929 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90036

If you google map those two address, can you tell me how safe that area is? Would you be safe to walk between them at night time? Is Crenshaw blvd in compton?
 
No man, that's like West LA (Miracle Mile) area... It's a really nice part of LA. Crenshaw is a huge street that goes through LA. You're nowhere near Compton in that area. Where are you training, 5 star?

Dude, are you being serious or are you trying to get this guy killed. He's gonna fricken' end up in Boyle Heights tied up in the trunk of an '83 regal.

Its an ok place - Miracle mile/Koreatown-ish. I wouldn't call it the westside though.
Places are relatively nice between Sunset and Pico. It's when you go south of Pico it can get a bit shady.

Isn't that Wilshire address Cobrinhas acadmey? If not, it's either right next door or in the same building.

Also, I lived all over the city and I'll tell you right now that ppl's paranoia has a lot to do with their negative experiences towards certain areas. Be respectful, be polite, keep to yourself, don't be a douchebag and you'll be fine wherever you are.
 
I think La like any city has bad sections. As far as Compton I stay there every year on the Carson line for PANS and other events. Two years ago my son and I walked into a restraurant and we were the only white ppl in there. Not one person eye balled us or said anything. They simply didn't care. I can tell you that wouldn't happen on the east coast in major cities.

LA is only sketchy if ur walkin around a bad area late at night, common sense will keep you out of harms way in LA but yeah ur right, u go walking down the wrong street by yourself rockin out to your ipod, u very well could get jacked or worse but i have lived in bad areas like beverly/vermont area which is a big MS13 area and yeah its not a good idea to be wandering around at night but you wouldnt be doing that because there is nothing to do in that area anyway
