During an interview with famed movie critic Peter Travers, the actor gave his thoughts on the "culture of outrage" surrounding sexual harassment in Hollywood. "All of that behavior needs to be confronted, but there is a continuum," he said. " “You know, there’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right?”

Well Matt Damon spoke the truth.

Hes officially fucked now.

Did he just admitted to sexual assault? BOYCOTT MATT DAMON!!!

Damon was connected to Weinstein and had a news story about his sexual assault squashed years ago. Im sure that has something to do w it.

As far as his point, obviously rape is more extreme than patting someone on the butt. But idk what kind of shit hes used to in Hollywood, but if I pat anyone on the butt thats pretty fucking wrong and if it was at my workplace id be fired on the spot

I must agree that it bothers me when people place rape and an ass grab under the same umbrella.

He is referring to the Pooboo outrage which seems not to distinguish between things like a pat on the butt and a rape claim. The amount of piling on and expectation of heads to roll seem to come with either.

I really don't get it though. I don't think anyone is under the impression patting someone on the butt and raping people is the same. The people who are outraged simply want them both to be fired. Can't say I disagree then again I've never had a problem keeping my hands to myself and I've always found touching women like that disgusting behavior. Even with my male friends doing things like that when we go out.

he should have let guys with less to lose, like bill burr, carry this discussion.

People didn't get butthurt over this, they've been butthurt for some time. They've decided to focus on this, today, though.

Now they will sue Matt Damon for hurting their fragile feelings and forcing them to become bulimic.

My issue is that from what I've seen there is a lack of context to everything and the context often matters.

Not all touching is the same or wrong and not even all unwanted touching is the same or wrong.

Did you see this video?

I am not one looking to agree with Tucker Carlson but on this topic he is right to ridicule and mock the idea of this as assault and the women as victims and this 'self loathing man' as an aggressor.

I was actually just waiting for him to trip her up by asking her 'so if all men are guilty because of the crimes of a few are all muslims guilty as well', just to see how she would respond to it .

this slippery slope and feeding frenzy has not yet bottomed out and there is an agenda brewing to really try to castrate all males INCLUDING ones who never do any of these things.

if it was legit rape or sexual assault, which was reported and brushed under the rug, then let the fucker burn now. better late than never. if not and you coming out with this decades later - bitch, please, you were quiet because you sold yourself out.

Lmfao. I couldn't contain the laughter. Her double standards, Tucker's smug face when he asked if she held that Harvard cuck in contempt... too funny. Honest truth is, women sit around and objectify men just as much--if not more--than guys do. And humans like being desired. It's very basic psychology. I really wanted to laugh in this stupid woman's face. As Tucker said, not all people are intelligent, and she certainly did not display any of the qualities you'd see in a person with a powerful brain--at least not in this interview.

Thanks for posting hah.

LETS GET HIM GUYS

Some of these stories sound like failed hookup attempts, and rejection is part of life.

Also women lie, just like men.

And just as an example, let's say I get accused of sexual harassment from over 10 years ago by one of my mom's family friends that I grew up with. She had two daughters.

I never tried anything sexual with them, ever. But how would I prove I never raped one of them or groped them should they accuse me?

It makes sense, a horny 20 year old that couldn't take no for an answer... She was just a poor innocent victim. Fire his sorry ass...

The burden of proof should always be on the accuser.

He is right to point out that each case is different, and they are not all equal. Also, we might start to see some sexual allegation fatigue soon. Women keep making these claims, and it seems a new perpetrator is outed every day now. It's becoming routine.
