They are forgetting, lost in the middle of this massive hype, that Lobov, is NOT a good striker, even in MMA standards. He's tough, he's funny, but that's all.

On the other hand, Paulie IS a good boxer, a very good one at that. If you count BKBoxing, as something similar to MMA, Paulie would be top 5 boxers in the history to try something like this out, behind Mercer, Toney, and so on, but he would be ahead of guys like Nishijima, and way ahead of guys like Noons or Davis, and way way ahead of guys with amatuer boxing background like Crocop, Mousasi and so on.

When I was growing up, there wasn't really MMA, but boxing was what I looked up to when I was growing up. It was the league of toughest men out there, and then k-1, neither sports of which doesn't really get the respect it deserves.

We found out early on that if you can't defend yourself from the ground work, then usually you are finished. So, a high school kid from a few months of BJJ Class might be able to beat Mayweather, yeah that's true. But Marcelo Garcia won't be able to take on two average men in street fight, whereas average golden glove boxer might take out five and more. I mean this whole BJJ eliticism and nowadays I train UFC's never gets old and always fucking lame.

I remember good old days when the fighters at the top level, like Gomi, when he was the number 1 lightweight in the world coming over to the UA for PRIDE event, said he didn't even have a chance against Dela Hoya with one handed, and Gomi in his prime was a better boxer than most, and Fedor I believe was pretty humble about his chances against the best boxers in the world, back then like Klitchko, I think I could be recalling this wrong but it's been a long time, just like DC did recently.

I don't know who is going to win, because there are lot of factors going against Paulie. He's washed up, inactive, brittle hands, small ass joke of a ring, clinches allowed and so on.

But Paulie in prime is much better striker than Lobov in his wildest dreams, and boxing is just as cool as MMA is in its own right, and all these millenials with their cool BJJ gis and UFC t shirt should show some Hespect.

With that said, I don't like Paulie. Hope Lobov smash

People are also forgetting that Artem has zero.pop in his punches

You know what's worse than millennials? People with anime profile pictures complaining about them.

STFU it's MANGA, not anime. And I am reading Manga till I'm 70 biatch

Nah nobody’s forgetting TS you’re just acting like a know it all again.

Dude, Lobov is a beast. There is a reason they got a unit in Rumble trying to keep Lobov in check. If Lobov was a bum, DJ or any other midget woulda been in Rumble's place.

A high school kid with a few classes of BJJ wouldnt due to shit to Floyd.
How would that kid, and his non explosive non athletic speed, catch Floyd?
What would that kids 16 year old face look like when one of the greatest boxers ever starts smashing his face through it.

Artem is a goddamned disgrace

artem has pretty good reflexes. it only takes on missed punch to initiate a clinch.
he doesnt throw any straights... but i dont think id even want him to try to fight on the outside anyways.
he'll have hard time closing distance.... untill paulie breaks his hand.
then we'll see what artem can do in the clinch.
