Yes they do. and round 5 was a clear 10-8. While I had it 47-47, That's the absolute best score I could give Rob. Though I didn't score 10-8 3rd for Yoel, it's a reasonable argument. A 10-9 or 10-10 4th argument is reasonable also just on the Chicken dance.

If there was no 10-8 rounds in that fight then they should just get rid of 10-8 rounds altogether.


At least one of those rounds was a 10-8 even in the old scoring.

I don't think it's absurd to give the 4th round to Whittaker, but he was dropped in that round. It's absurd not to give at least a 10-8 for the 5th round though (or even the 3rd).

Why should Whittaker grant Romero another title shot tho when he's missed weight for two in a row now? the only thing Romero should win is a trip to LHW.

Whittaker wasn't dropped in round 4. Yoel landed a good shot that momentarily put Robert on rubber legs but he recovered instantly. Then Yoel landed one more good shot. That was almost his total offense in the round. Whittaker won the rest of it by a large margin.
