People were acting like it was some huge robbery when the fight was extremely close. I'm not gonna argue against people who thought Barboza won since you can make an argument for it, I personally felt however that Ige won the 2nd despite the ending of it. He was winning the majority of the round and you can make an argument for the both of them winning that round. This isn't a thread saying that people who didn't agree with the decision are stupid but the way people are blowing it out of proportion is fucking stupid. It was a close fight that could've gone either way, deal with it, it wasn't a "robbery" or anything like that, he was winning most of the round and the last 30 seconds didn't justify him winning the round, it's not completely out of line in my opinion. Third round was close too but I gave it to ige, I thought he was winning even before the takedown at the end.
To be more specific I gave the fight 29-28 to ige, and it was super close. Barboza got the first, ige got the second in my opinion despite the ending to it, and the third round was ige. Barboza was just eating shots to the fucking face, then again so was ige. The judges tonight have been absolute garbage, no denying that, and I think the judges who scored the fight had no fucking clue what they were watching.
Edit: I think people are seriously missing the point of the thread. I'm not saying people who thought Barboza won are wrong, you are allowed to have an opinion. I'm simply saying the fight wasn't the biggest robbery in the world, not even the worst on this card.
