I watched the weigh in and he seemed like he wanted a reaction from Yair, but Penn looked stonecold during that stare in his eyes.

That said, holy shit Yair looks shredded....I would not be surprised if after the fight or soon he gets poped, if you dont believe me just watch the weighing when he flexes, my god, Penn seems lacking a ton of muscle, looking at his biceps compared to Yair is like night and day but that does not mean much in MMA, and with Yair wild style he is due to get clipped with someone thing sooner then later.

So what do we think, is Penn focused? He looked serious, did he look chubby? I thought he looked somewhere in the middle, not a big belly, sorta lean but not much muscle either. I dont even know what camp he is training with for this fight so someone enlighten me please.

So, motivated or not?

Hard to tell

Last time he looked motivated, he came in with a stupid stance

He's motivated. He's got that twitch back and a little bit of crazy look in his eyes in his interviews where his nostrils flare up real big.

He is in visibly better health than last time out. Looks like he made the weight more comfortably this time (without Dolce).

The size difference is barely anything. When you're around 11-12% bodyfat, each pound of fat that you lose is very noticeable and gives you tons of definition, giving the illusion of having more size.

Example -- this guy is 210 lbs in the before picture, and actually 20 lbs LIGHTER, so 190 lbs, in the after picture.

This woman is actually 10 lbs lighter in her after pictures.

Too little too late imo. You can't suddenly find your motivation when your career is essentially done.

People think he's coming off a loss, but you forget that he beat the shit out of his friend after the Frankie fight. So he's got that monkey off his back. BJ fans be prepared for a glorious classic BJ win.

Wait, are you saying we're witnessing the rebirth of motivated BJ? Yair has no chance!

I like both guys it wish penn has one more win and just retires while yair will have many more wins in the future.

Bj Penn.. Formerly bloativated, currently oldivated.

In terms of weight i understand, but in terms of strength it seems like Penn is the before of the guy and Yair is the after of the same guy, how much that effects his Ko power i dont know but it looks like Yair is on roids, the guy is shredded like crazy.

The 9+ minute interview from sherdog, coupled with training at Jackson/Wink really has me believing.
