Laughable. You get beat up tremendously in Round 1 (2 Judges gave it to Pendred, not sure how at all,) then again in Round 2 (a little less so, but still a clear round for Spencer) then in Round 3, which could honestly go either way, finalizes a majority 30-27 win for Pendred.

I get that you have to be behind yourself and all, but how is being a sitting duck for a rangy Spencer qualify you as a clear winner?

Spencer is calling for the rematch on twitter btw, do you guys think its useless for Spencer? I think they should give him the Pearson treatment here, and act as if he won the fight.

Also, this was a robbery, Henderson-Cerrone, not so much.

He said he controlled the whole fight and praised his striking.

I thought it was a much closer fight than many here are making it out to be. I would not have given him the first, but 29-28 does not seem outrageous to me.

Pendred should stay quiet and be ashamed of that performance, give him a step up in competition for his win so he can get destroyed

Pendred gets by on his reach and apparent ability to cut 40lbs and 4".

Spencer was so much more technically sound in his striking it's hard to describe.

Most of Cathal's punches have a very visible wind-up and he looks stiff.

It should be outrageous, taking him down and threatening with wrist control for all of 10 seconds does not qualify as winning the round. Especially when after Spencer got back up, he rocked Pendred again.

Yeah man, his striking is amazing. All those fast and crisp punches had so much power behind them. Spencer has probably the best chin ever because seriously Pendred is probably one of the hardest hitters we have ever seen.

I like Cathal and have seriously rooted for him in every fight but holy shit is his skillset rudimentary. I literally just cringe through all of his fights, thinking by myself how in the hell this guy is fighting in the UFC.

Does anyone have a gif of his world class striking?

Could probably make a good Matt Riddle type gif from it

How is that not outrageous? He was constantly eating HUGE overhands that probably damaged his brain a ton, while dishing out 0 damage himself. How the fuck did he win this fight? By having 1 takedown and some wrist control?

This is the guy they couldn't get anyone to fight to get into the TUF house, isn't it? :D He's looked awful every single time I've seen him. He got destroyed last night and should feel utterly ashamed talking this shit now.

I think he landed more shots and ate less from his opponent than what you are saying.

In my opinion Spencer won, but Rogan was annoyingly biased, and it was closer than people say.

He looked terrible for most of the fight. Slow and plodding.

Well it certainly could have been the alcohol swaying me. He was landing some, but at times he was just eating big, telegraphed punches with no head-movement at all. I was watching it with no sound and was rooting hard for Cathal btw.

Anyway was kinda disappointed in him, since it doesn't seem like he improved much as a fighter from when he was in TUF untill now. Still admire his heart and fighting spirit though.
