As long as everyone knows the consequences of their cheating ways.

You wanna cheat - roll the dice. Maybe you get USADA'd; maybe you Beat USADA with your sly ways.

Just don't cry when the hammer falls.

These guys are trying to put each other out; it's dangerous enough as it is with out a bunch of enhanced captain america and winter soldiers running around all juiced up.

Leave Yoel alone he's clean !!

So who receives the 50-75%?
If the opponent of the user gets it I agree with it. (minues a small percentage like 10% for NAC)
If NAC takes it all a big NOPE, than is should go to a charity or something...

Nasty Matt Brown wants 5:

"My thoughts on the steroid controversy, I'm glad to hear that the UFC is doing things about the steroids," Brown told The Shoot. "The No. 1 thing to do is harsher penalties. First offense, five-year ban. Yea, that's going to sway a lot of guys.'

"It's going to turn a lot of guys away from doing it," said Brown. "You'd have to really, really turn yourself around to be able to come back from that. You'd be forgot about and that's the way it should be. You should be forgotten about.

"If you're going to take steroids you should be forgotten about. If it's against the rules, it's against the rules. The fact is it's cheating. Harsher penalties is the way to go."

Mean Ronda wants 8:

Rousey was asked what punishment would be suitable for a PED offender and she believes that one year is not enough.

In fact, if you are caught using PEDs, Rousey believes you should spend nearly a decade on the sidelines.

“Eight years is a pretty good punishment,” Rousey said, via FOX Sports.

A better example is Lyle Alzedo. Who use to shoot up Equine hormones multiple times a day for years. He pleaded before his death to kids not to mess with the stuff.
Alzado's claims were shot down by doctors. You won't find a single medical expert who gives any credit to what he said.

People think it's too severe? Simple answer, don't fucking cheat. I don't care if it's a career killer. You're putting other people and their careers in jeopardy.

And why would he lie LOL !
The better question would be "how would he know?" But to answer your question, maybe it's because steroids were being treated like a national crisis at the time and he wanted another fifteen minutes of fame.

I don't disagree with the science argument but this ain't extra fame....

Thing about PEDs is this can't be done halfway. Either it has to be totally legal or strictly forbidden otherwise only the guys with money are going to roid and the sport will just be goofy.

One question that's rarely addressed is... do fighters actually need roids? Is the sport going to look like absolute shit if no one is roiding?

I have a question let's say someone tests positive in competition and the results come out a month later, let's say Brock for example. Aren't the athletes already paid? Are the commissioners gonna hunt down Brock and make him give back 1.5 mil?

Yes. See you operate under the assumption that PEDs are bad. Athletes know that this isn't the case. They can prevent injury, help athletes heal from injury, improve perfomance, lengthen career, and depending on how they are used, can even prolong life.

No I am not disagreeing with that stuff but I am bringing up that Roids also allow people to dish out more damage to their opponents which can be a detriment to their health.

When your entire paycheck rides on your ability to compete, risking career ending injuries is just stupid. Ending a career at 32 is also stupid if there are hundreds of thousands or even millions more to be made.

Roids are not required to compete injury free, and getting caught on Roids is just about career ending for most of these guys.

Athletics without drugs is a short lived career and not every athlete is afforded the opportunity at a second one, so they need to maximize their earning potential by keeping themselves in the game. That means staying competitive, injury free and having the longest career they possibly can.

Can you source this?

Depends how the contract was drawn. This being a one of,Brock may have demanded most of his money be paid up front and now sitting in Canadian bank account.

He was on national news and in numerous publications. If he wanted attention, he got it; we're still talking about it decades later. The "fifteen minutes of fame" is a figure of speech.

That's what im' saying lol. Brock's probably laughing all the way to the bank like good luck ya goofs

Fighters should have some sort of representation in these decisions.
