PBC Boxing releases Andy Ruiz Jr from his contract

Apparently he verbally agreed to Face Wilder and didn’t follow through with signing the deal… that created some friction between the groups and PBC decided to cut ties with him …


Ruiz also pulled his name from the Hrgovic purse bidding … this same week

Lol!! I’m playing bro… but I don’t agree with him on some points here… wilder has 0 to do with Ruiz Release…. Andy never signed the deal, walk away from the Hrgovic Purse … that’s why he was released…

I think that Hatman is one of the best boxing YouTubers, but he's super biased against Wilder and was putting all of the blame on the Ruiz fight not happening on Wilder without any consideration for Ruiz's own history of fuckery.


Seems like both guys were looking for guaranteed purses that aren't feasible given how poorly their post-championship fights have sold.
