Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably end up going to this event to see wolak. I've read that he wrestled in high school (in NJ), has kickboxing experience, and that he has trained with the likes of Jim Miller, Costa Philippou, Jamal Patterson, and Renzo Gracie for over two years now.

I also have been to the venue to see Strikeforce, Glory, and XFO and have enjoyed myself every time and tickets aren't expensive.

I heard he was training MMA years ago, then forgot about it. maybe it is a sign he took it seriously and has been learning for a while.

He's got a weird style of mma to translate, but his clinch work and dirty stuff should translate well.

This isn't a hit-and-not-get-hit type of boxer though, which is what mma fans typically think of as pro boxing.
