I think they can check his blood for whatever metabolites the IV typically uses. But I’m sure he has a great Brazilian doctor.

Get your shit together and stop posting garbage.

He gained 15% back after the weigh in, he didn't cut 15% in under 24 hours.

Yeah I mean, I don't think that means he's using an IV. They test for that right I'm fairly certain. Cutting 30 pounds is the high end, upper limits of cutting. It's not unheard of. That's what Tibau was cutting, Anthony Johnson was cutting that or more, I'm sure GSP and Jones both cut around that for certain fights.

Yeah its insane weight cutting devalues the purpose of weight class

If they ban big weight cutting and have fighters fighting at their natural weight just like One championship all together fighters would still fight guys the same size only they wouldn't have to significantly put their health and performance at risk.

Plus the hassle of fighters missing weight would be avoided. But im not the one weight cutting so i dont care too much and its not going to change for now

10/11 Kg is the limit for anybody, after that you probably die, but is possible.

A friend of mine in high school wrestled at whatever the closest weight class to 170 was, and he'd stay around there for the whole season. After the season ended, he gained 40 pounds in around a week. It's shocking how quickly the body will blow back up after a deprivation period.

No way he'll sustain his cardio for 5 rounds for that huge weight cut. Especially after 1 year layoff and even in a 3 rounder against Yoel he gassed after 2 rounds.

You're sure about that based on what? Gsp was always around 187-190 at welterweight.

I thought USADA only found out because someone from his camp leaked a photo of him using an IV, not that USADA found out through testing

A commission member overwatches the weight cutting process of fighters & rehydration, that is how they would know if he’s using a IV. TS you’re kinda a idiot, what kinda of Mickey Mouse operation you think UFC is doing specially when it comes to one if not the most dangerous part of being a fighter.
