Pretty crazy how all that seems to be happening at our current place in time. Even if you don't believe in that sort of thing. Either way, the world is on some of the wrong roads in our culture. Gonna get interesting where we are headed. Hopefully we end up at the right place.
 
All of this stuff was happening in 1965. The fact that we are still here seems yo mean that maybe most of that stuff wasn’t as horrible as he thought.
 
The lefties are vile garbage who are destroying our society from within, but the pendulum is starting to swing back and people are starting to wake up.

If I were the devil Id create a nation where people have the freedom to do as thou wilt. Id create a land that has freedom of religion.

Patriotic Christian Americans are living in a paradox. They think they can promote American ideals of freedom while also promoting a nation under God. They think its moral and just to allow people to worship different gods on every corner. They think they can have a nation where people are allowed to live completely contrary to Biblical standards but also remain a "Christian" nation. They're fools. These paradoxial principles is what allows the devil to run rampant in America.

People who are serious about the Bible understand that God does not support and allow freedom of religion and lifestyle. They understand God doesn't allow people to do as thou wilt.

You have to wonder about these patriotic Christian Americans who decry the devils influence and control over our society. You have to ask them...what in the world did you think was going to happen?

How anyone can look around at our society today and say he was anything other than spot on in his assessment boggles me. He observed a degradation of morality and made a guess where it'd lead and was pretty damn accurate.
 
The movement towards normalizing broken homes is certainly something only a devil would do.

The glorification of the single mother is one major way in which this is done, and it really is insidious.

He saw this one coming in the form of calling marriage 'old fashion' and promoting swinging, and nowadays Id say that there are plenty of people who exhibit that mentality to a T.

Because it hasn't. It's just your bias. You look back at time that didn't have things you don't like, such as trans rights, and ignore the things they had that were bad so you can reminisce about the good old days. Things are not worse today, it's just different.

You can point out any time period and find significant morally objectionably things that went on regularly that no longer go on.

Funny. I always thought that if I were the devil, I'd trick the apes into believing that a book written to bolster their worst instincts and bigotry was the word of God, and try to get them to subjugate themselves to a false idol.

No one is saying it all came into existence after he said it, he was observing what we used to deem as low morality and warned of it becoming mainstream, which it has. Today we'd simply say "slippery slope" or some shit because we aren't as articulate as Paul Harvey.

Porn for example. Are you going to tell me straight faced isn't more mainstream and accessible than it was in 1965? His comments about drugs and schools. Religion- all of it is spot on. I can't think of one thing he said in that monologue that didn't make sense to me.

Everybody is getting raised by single mothers and drug use is a huge epidemic but at least gay people can be out of the closet
