"What Paul Daley did was unforgivable. In the history of UFC, no one has ever walked up and sucker-punched a guy after the fight - it's never happened. It happened one time and it was with Paul Daley. Paul Daley had his management write me a letter a few days ago, saying [basically] he has grown up a lot since that incident, has been on a win streak, it's one of the biggest regrets of his life ... you know ... things like that. I showed it to Lorenzo [Fertitta] and he was like,

But..it was Koscheck

method=get&s=josh-koscheck-gif.gif

what about phil baroni vs evan tanner 1. He puches the ref a few times actually......

I know its not completely the same but still extremely bad.

Who cares? Paul Daley got tooled by Misaki on the feet.
I'm not talking shit about Misaki. Dude's for real. He beat Henderson.

But when a fighter who is at the end of his career that isn't known for
his stand up skills-puts on a clinic against "World Class Kickboxer"
Paul Daley to the point where Daley goes for a desperation takedown
to me- Means that Daley wouldn't have much success in the UFC...

They should've given Daley a bonus for doing that.

That was prime Kos right there. Too Petrified to stand and resorting to lay n pray. It's sad how Kos has always been given a free pass for his boring style.

But he improved his standup brah he was throwing that right hand like Chuck Liddell

Yea nobody has had to deal with Koschek before though Dana. As far as I'm concerned Josh Kos should be banned from the UFC for diving.

Unforgivable.

A lifetime ban for a bad decision in the heat of the moment is too much imo. I would give him a second chance.

it was a pretty bad decision...

he doesn't deserve a second chance.

Even if his crime wasn't that bad, it's not like he's done amazingly outside of the ufc anyway.

I think they should hold up the ban. It's all well and good that he was young, and he has grown up and a so on, but it was a lifetime ban. You don't want the next young kid to think that it's OK to pull a stunt like that and it's fixable.

Besides there are much better talents to be had at 170 right now.

He was 27 when he fought Koscheck.

Let's not get too carried away with how young he supposedly was.

I think Dana is making an example out of Daley since he's changed his mind on so many of his. "lifetime bans" before.

And he should look at mitigating factors. Kos was supposedly calling Daley a "fa***t" during the fight, which is against the rules. It doesn't justify what Daley did but he's been banned for years. His career has suffered tremendously already.
