Paul Daley refusing to fight MVP

There is arguably no hotter feud in the whole of the MMA world right now than between Bellator fighters Michael “Venom” Page and Paul “Semtex” Daley. However, it looks like one of the most anticipated fights among MMA fans may never happen.
Despite this being the fight that MMA fans, Bellator, and Page himself want to see happen, it appears it may never come to pass. We can exclusively reveal that Page has been contacted by Bellator with the news that, despite publicly calling out Page time after time, Daley is once again refusing to face MVP in the cage.

That was a high-quality promo by MMA standards. Bellator should be producing this kind of stuff for him so more people sound see it.

Oh well, I thought it might've been too good to be true. That would've been a big fight for Bellator.

 

Sometimes, you can't make a fighter face someone he doesn't want to, as stupid as it is.

Make MVP vs Koreshkov/Chidi winner as a title eliminator and send Daley back to the lower top 10 along with the rest of the cans. MVP should be above Daley in the rankings at this point.

So let me get this straight...

Daley gets dominated by Rory, yet still talks himself into a marquee fight with Page, but now refuses to fight him.

Edit: just watched the Page video, who basically said the same thing.

 

Seems like a promo/call out, honestly.

 

Daley ducked Page and took the higher profile fight with Rory. He probably knows he'd get KO'd by the taller rangier striker who is faster.

 

MVP needs to stop wasteing his prime in that bum league and get his ass in the UFC already so we can see if he is legit or all hype

 

Paul daley better not pussy out of this fight after he called out MVP after the rory fight.

That was a foolish decision. He has a much better chance against the unproven Page. Rory was always gonna dominate him on the ground.

 

What's Daley's side to this?

 

Daley must be after money, why would he be scared? He's just been in there with Rory Mac...

 

Rory was always going to take Daley down and dominate him. Daley's ego couldn't take the embarrassment he'd suffer standing with MVP at this point in his career. It's would be a lot worse for his self esteem than losing to Rory.
