the funniest part is the nerf to zerphi's... that's actually a buff. those clowns don't even know their own game's mechanics.

I'm playing an SRS/Zombie Necromancer and it's a lot of fun so far. I haven't played since Harbinger league so I was pretty excited to get back into the game. A lot of builds I want to try out like the Teutonic THICCJUGG and a Deadeye bow build. Especially keen for Deadeye, and my current Necromancer, because I usually like playing 2H tanks in rpgs and arpgs.

Why do you play a game made by "clowns" then? I've been pretty happy with them taking in feedback from the community and already implementing changes and telling everyone how they're going to continue to tweak and change things so people enjoy it.

and are you fucking serious about the feedback/changes part? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. yeah, capturing dead animals because the reddit casuals complained about using a weaker set of weapons on swap or southbound (or whatever those gloves are) or any of the various 50 uniques that would help with that mechanic while keeping it halfway challenging; ie: using 4 brain cells?

you kind of just proved what i've been complaining about for 6+ months, now. the game went to shit. pathofnetflix ruined the game forever. it's now just an incredibly dumbed-down version of the game it was/should be. ...and one that's p2w, at that. racing? gone. pvp? gone? economy? welp, one of their owners was caught running prominent rmt sites that sold poe items. p2w-free? stash tab api.

ffs, gc miners got buffed.

...and they think they just nerfed zerphi's (finally)... but they're so fucking clueless about their own mechanics that they just buffed it. it's staggering to see how people can defend this trash.

I'm guessing you have nvidia. You need to turn off autoselect. Google is your friend. It's probably nvidias fault as nvidias recent drivers have been very unstable for gaming.

Well this is a POE thread so it's hard to imagine we are being totally objective but I really enjoyed POE a lot more than D3.

That said my days of hard POE are over, I come in with a new league from time to time and check out new content but I am not out farming currency for crazy high end gear or anything again.

The game has had numerous graphical issues with both nvidia and ATI cards in the 4 years Ive been playing... ggg has been good about fixing things but its silly to blame it on nvidia.

This one actually is on nvidia right now. There were numerous posts leading up to release of this league not to download the drivers as the drivers were unstable and effecting numerous games. If you have updated drivers they have released some unstable ones recently effecting numerous games. Your generalizations are unhelpful in this situation.

I mean, hey, it's free right? Worst thing that happens is you try it and don't like it.

There's some pay mechanics, but they're all aesthetic save for more stash tabs (which isn't really a concern for you at the beginning anyway). It's crazy to think the game is kept afloat by the whales that buy every pack of skins, every time. But hey, god bless'em - keeps it free for the rest of us.

One drawback to this game though is that experimentation, especially early, is pretty rough. By that I mean, you get items that let you redo skill trees, but the way the skill system is set up, if you start down a path that's not really what you want, you're going to have a hard time undoing it. So, look up a build or ask here (or on the official forums) and give it a go for your first run - the initial look at the skill tree can be a bit daunting, but after a little bit, it all makes sense.

Ya, well I didnt have up to date drivers, and was getting the problems. Once i did a cclean and registry wipe, i installed fresh up to date drivers and havent had it since... there have been what, 7 hotfixes since friday?

I dont even know what your intent in arguing with me is. I love this game, there were major issues at this league launch for a lot of people, those issues are seemingly resolved now, the end.
