This was absolutely baffling to me.

He looked fucking awful. Bautista is good and performed well but Mix was shocking. So flat footed. I thought he'd finish him too, he was absolutely fucking terrible. Octagon jitters? Overrated? I dunno.

He is better than he showed, he is legitimately a good grappler. Very bizarre decision to not even really attempt it, especially after he said he’d submit him. Frankly an embarrassing performance though, but I think he’ll be able to get the rankings eventually. But won’t make a significant impact.

I’ve said for years Mix isn’t anything special. Anyone who actually saw his fights knows he’s slow and one dimensional. That doesn’t work at Bantamweight in the big leagues.

I was at the fight last night. When the prelims ended, I was telling the guy next to me that this was the 'sleeper fight' on the whole card. I was so pumped to see Mix do his thing. He was a real dud last night and I couldn't have been more wrong.
