patch legal locations?

Is it legal to the bjj federation during competition to have a patch that runs on the lapel area on your lower rib down by your abs from the front that wraps around slightly to the your lower back? so imagine a line from your sternum to your belly button then wrapping around to your lower back on your posterior side

This might seem dumb but its totally logical. You can basically have them anywhere that wont mess with other person grip, or change the match at all. Can be inside the knees, or below the elbow etc. Makes perfect sense to me.
 
basically anywhere your opponent is assured to grip you cannot patch... such as the lapel, the very ends of the sleeves, and the very ends of the pants
 
so the picture shows the front of the pants on the thighs and the back on the hamstrings. what if it wrapped around on both surfaces? are the spots pictured the only legal places? I have seen that chart before but still am not sure. basically since my patch wraps, it would hit the oblique area. but the pants I am wondering about too
