I'm waiting for someone to say it doesn't count because he used straps.

I'm waiting for someone to say he should pull the slack out of the bar on the first rep. Nice pulling!

He should reset between reps before he throws out his back. I mean really, deadlifts are dangerous enough as it is...

He lifts as strong as the guys in the 330 lb range at 290.

Strong as fuck but his form is terrible. His grip and stance is too wide and in the first rep he sinks his ass down like he is doing a snatch.

I'm pretty sure he almost never deadlifts. That would explain the weird form. He's super strong though so whatever.

    Everyone's stance and grip vary.

As for dropping his ass down...Misha also did/does that. I would say Misha is a proficient deadlifter.

I'm sure Pat Mendes knows what's up.

If PCP were training him he would have pulled 1000 raw by now.

That first rep looks really rough on the elbows.

Pat Mendes, as the thread title states. Details should be available through the Google machine.

It's not to bad when you're pulling DOH. Misha used to do pretty much the same motion, but at a slower rate.

his form does look terrible but some of the greatest deadlifters have used very unconventional form, vince anello had a very narrow stance and KK deadlifts with an almost rounded back

    just sayin.
