That may be 1/2 of the requirement for traveling abroad. Some countries require a visa for entrance.
Yes, before the pandemic I had traveled outside the state and the country.

Just some advice. I would not have traveled to Mexico even before the pandemic. Check the State Department's tourist warnings. Americans in Mexico does not make it for a safe combination. Easy targets for crime. Better stick with Canada.

I do. Lived in overseas for around 15 years.
    Loved it!

Was about to go scooting around Tokyo later this year, but now we live in the age of Pandemica. :(

I had a passport a long time ago when I did some traveling. It expired because I didn't go anywhere but to Canada and I didn't need it for that. I got a passport again several years ago when they started requiring a passport to go to Canada but I haven't been to Canada since I got it. It might be expired by now. I probably should renew it but I don't plan to travel and Americans probably won't be allowed into other countries any time soon because there are too many idiots here.

I’ve had a passport for 20 years. Been to several countries in Asia, Australia, and Switzerland, and the US several times before we needed passports to go down there.

But you can party like a king in Tijuana on like 50 bucks.

You can bang two hookers at the same time for like $40 in TJ as well. Or so my friend has told me.

Only if you act like an idiot.
And or go to areas where you shouldn’t that are rife with crime, bad areas looking for shit.
I’ve Spent LOTS of time all over Mexico(my dad even lives there!, and I’ve lived in three different parts!)

And I’m Blonde and clearly not Mexican looking in MOST areas,

However in some , Like Veracruz for example I was mistaken for a local at times. Of course I was with local workers , and light skin and blonde hair are fairly common in Veracruz.
