Seems like the passing of the guard is currently developing. Jose Aldo has been on a skid, Frankie has taken the first crucial L of his career at 35, Lamas got KO'd badly by newcomer Emmett, Cub Swanson got taken out brutally by Ortega.

Seems like the only one left is Stephens...who would have fucking thought.

Still need to see how Mendes does in his return

Kinda crazy, a lot of the WEC guys are fading away from the top of the sport.

this reminds me of the hot potato situation of the light heavyweight belt until a very young jon jones hunted all of them to extinction and i am still bitter over it

<mma1>

it did have to happen sooner or later

Time gets everyone.

Been saying for years how Frankie is very hittable and gets by on his chin in lots of fights.

Still didn't think Ortega would be the one to finally crack Edgars chin. Crazy shit.

Time gets everyone. The FW division is aging like every division does. Even divisions like HW that struggles to evolve is showing passing of the torch moments.

Stipe taking out all of the older guys.

Francis KOing Reem.

Hunt being outworked by Blaydes.

Tai Tuvasa is on the come up though he hasn't fought any of the older names yet.

Circle of life baby.

I love Frankie and Jose but it's exciting to see these cubs come through to climb onto the shoulders of those giants.

Jose Aldo is the GOAT and Frankie is a top 10 GOAT

Respect to the FW OGs but a new time has arrived

waiting on zombie to come back then fw will be nutz

Frankie's last L to Aldo seemed pretty crucial to me.

Speaking of featherweights, why is Yair ranked? Which top 15 opoonent(s) has he bean??

Max
Ortega
Zabit
Bektic

Are the future. Max probably goes to 155 by 2020 if not 2019
