Twitter is yuge and covers all (social) media. There is likely shitty stuff that gets through there, but there is some good faith to moderate. With something like Parler it is a tiny niche extremist site with little to no good faith to suppress things like calls for violence.

Maybe avoiding stuff like a former member of Trump's legal team calling for the execution of Mike Pence would help them fly below the radar.
