Where’s the proof of the broken hand?
Is this the part where we people cry conspiracy with 0 proof simply because they aren't a fan of fighter?
Why would Ortiz need to submit medical records to Sherdog posters?
Didn't the broken hand news come out before the fight offer?
Now that the Bakole fight is out it looks like Yoka has until Jan 10th to say if he agrees to fight Hrgovic as an IBF eliminator.
This fight would make sense : it would clarify the pecking order among current prospects and there's a story to tell after Yoka's razor thin win over Hrgovic in Rio.
That being said it's a risky one for Yoka. Hrgovic's strengths seem better suited for pro boxing, especially his chin and power.
I say make this fight already. Rio was more than 5 years ago. Let's see who's got the goods.
I said IT LOOKS LIKE AN EXCUSE TO ME. if Ortiz has his hand BROKEN for real than I'm sorry, I wish him a fast recovery. I felt bad for his family during those 4 rounds of pain and anxiety they were in last saturday. It's true I'm not his biggest fan, but I wish him good health for the rest of his life. IMO he doesn't belong anymore in the ring with the top dogs, hopefully he has earned enough money so he can retire.
fantastic fight with a narrative behind if it can be made. i also favor hrgovic in a pro fight for the reasons you mentioned. my prediction is: in three days we have a new thread with the title "tony yoka declines IBF offer for title eliminator"
We do agree on such a prediction.
Especially given Yoka’s contract with a French TV network. Amateur stuff. For his first 10 fights he gets paid the same, including the opponent’s purse. So Hrgovic would get paid the same money a handful of cab drivers did, or Yoka would accept a cut to fight a real threat.
No it didn’t…..ok so whyte needs to prove why he can’t fight wallin but it’s different for Ortiz…..right got you
Sounds made up.
Are you confusing a fight offer with an accepted offer? Lol. Its not close to the same. Pulling out of a fight is not the same as not taking one. Duh.
Yeah your right to pull out of a fight you need to prove your injured whilst to duck a fight you can just claim to be injured
Yep guess you can also make bullshit claims on the internet with no proof.
Yeah because of to pull o of fight you don’t need to prove any injury to your promoter / tv company / insurer
People are enjoying the myth that everybody outside of Wilder is shaking like a shitting dog from Ortiz being ripped to shreds.
Just let us enjoy it bud.
That was 4 years ago. Hasn't really been a thing in some time.
Yeah a broken hand from a power heavyweight who cracked the fk out of somebody.... sounds like a major international global conspiracy.
I'm sure Ortiz's Dr.s will fax you his medicals right away.... this guy lol
Just like you was screaming for whytes such a joker….Ortiz is a ducker has been for years I expect medical records to be kept private I argued with you about that with whyte I am just saying the hypocrisy is a joke.
Its not hypocrisy. Its a lack of understanding and conflating on your part.
One was contractually obligated & trying to face a different fighter instead. The other wasn't even days removed from a victory where he got beat up in. Not similar situations.
I hope not, this should be a good fight and doesn’t really hold any surprises for yoka. He’s gotta step up at some point and this is a great opportunity, if he has been offered the fight. He’d be mad not to take it imo. Both guys are at the same level in their pro careers. A win for either pita them right amongst it
One would have proved his injury whyte one doesn’t Ortiz.
One has a history of ducking Ortiz one takes fights he doesn’t need too whyte.
But Whyte ducked Ortiz lmao. Bet you forgot about that one.
Says you who is constantly wrong about everything
