I don’t really ever get but I stopped by one for lunch today. first they fuck up my order and gave me Kung Po chicken when I know I didn’t order this. And there nothing really good about it. Shit is blah at best but not terrible.

There was one near my house in college, it hit the specific craving for bad greasy Chinese food, but it’s really only worth getting if there’s no local option around. It’s like comparing Applebees to a decent local bar and grill, similar items on the menu but everything about the chain is just a little worse even than an average place.

I love panda Express.

If for no other reason it's the only Chinese place that you can trust to be reasonably clean.

I know people who have worked in Chinese restaurants before and they said that the Chinese people that work there have zero regard for health and hygiene. Their attitude is that Americans are all germophobes. Some didn't wash hands after using the bathroom. They had a big bucket of soy sauce that they're using to refill the bottles, and they just dip a cup into the bucket so their fingers get in the soy sauce every time.

Food would fall on the floor or in the sink and if it still looked good they'd serve it. They would taste customers food and drink to make sure they got the mix right.

They would touch raw meat and then just wipe their hands on a towel instead of washing them.

This was the Chinese people that came from China. Not the ones that were raised in the States. The more Americanized they were, the cleaner they were.
