Palmetto Cheese gets Cancelled

Looks like unlike Jebron, he put principle over money. A dying breed.

It's GREAT to stand by one's principles. I applaud him for it.

He just didn't do it wisely.

Do you consider selling out your morals for a few extra bucks to be a good thing?

Of course not. But there's a right way do go about that sort of thing.

Yours are legitimately some of the most unintentionally funny posts on Sherdog.

I remember the string of confused posts that somehow thought it was hypocritical of conservatives not to shoot cops in defense of terrorists.
And now you're the black American saying, "you should know better than to speak out against a racist status quo - just shut your mouth and make your money."

There's a way to do it to get people to buy-in to what you're saying.

He did not do that.

I guarantee Palmetto Cheese will be fine.

The dems are all talk when it comes to boycotting.

Goya, Redbull, and Trader Joe's all doubled down and are fine.

Palmetto Cheese is still in tons of stores; people will forget about this in a couple of months

Here's what I'm saying...

There was a way for him to say what he said or support his issue without getting kicked out of Costco.

He didn't choose that.

The owner should have kept the tweet up. He is entitled to his opinion and by back tracking he will do more harm than good.

Socialist policies mixed with capitalist policies? No way bro! Unpossible! You must be a communist.
One drop of socialist blood m I rite fellas?
I dont think anyone denies that some social policies and regulation are a problem...
no one wants monopolies and no one wants to stop paying taxes for shares services.

I guarantee that Jerry Jones, LeBron, etc will be fine.

I'm sure. My point is that people are free to say what they want and the public is free to not support. At the end of the day they are paid by public funds no matter the political direction.

I would have thought Costco would be above this shit.

This isn’t going to help their bottom line. BLM’ers aren’t gonna start fucking flocking to Costco and now regular customers are going to have to go somewhere else to get a product they like.

fwiw that shit looks gross. But whatever.

I agree with this. You shouldn't be allowed to buy or sell or participate in society if you don't agree with leftist cant.

100% agree.
You’d think he’d be smarter than that having made it as far as he has.

It’s like... what could he hope to accomplish? Thinking maybe the people who agree BLM is a terrorist organization are going to buy twice as much cheese now?

You'd think that a business leader would be able to survey the business landscape and act accordingly. Keep your opinions to yourself and (no pun intended) stack your cheese.
