Pain in wrists

    Mostly in my left wrist, especially when im hooking the bag. Its got pretty bad at the moment so i cant twist is without it hurting, any idea whats wrong?

    Go to your doctor, I also injured my wrist on while throwing a long hook. X-ray's showed nothing but a bone scan showed the damage. If it hurts that bad get it looked at.

    i had the same problem last year. right hand for me though. i just wrapped my right hand differently, more padding in the knuckle are and more times around the wrist for support, and stocked up on the motrin. then i was fine 2 weeks later.

    Am i still ok to train but just throwing straight shots as they dont hurt? I have a big competition coming up in a few weeks!

    Unfourtunatly we could say yeah you sound ok to enter, but you might have a broken/fractured bones and you dont want to keep training threw it.

    on the flip side the last guy with a swolen hand who asked everyone and eventualy went to the doctor had an x-ray and it was negative so he was allowed to keep training.

    It isnt alyways bad news when you go see the doctor they are the ones who went to school to help you with this stuff.
