I expect an announcement of him vs Tom with a date or Dana saying Tom will be fighting someone else for the belt. There's zero chance he's that tone deaf to the fans seeing through what he's selling.

Despite him being a inactive fighter...if Dana announced any kind of Jon Jones fight his ppv will sell slightly north of 1mill. That's why he still gets to hold the belt

The only heavyweight title fight worth booking is Jones vs. Aspinall, and stripping Jones does nothing to solve that problem.
