Pacquiao vs Khan 2016

isnt khan a haymon guy? isnt arum suing haymon?

how does this fight happen?

Khan has not looked all that impressive recently himself. Pac is too quick and too skilled not to nail Khan at some point. I'm thinking Khan starts well boxing, may even win a few rounds, gets tagged and hurt a few times and finally TKO'd around the 8th after being dropped a 2-3 times in the previous rounds.

to be fair pac hasnt knocked anybody in a long time. khan does a glass jaw but he also has great hand speed

Khan will get hurt early and often but a stoppage seems unlikely for two reasons. One being Khan knows how to survive. Holding, running, pushing off until points are deducted are all skills he has mastered when he's seriously hurt and he gets hurt in almost every fight. Number two would be Pac's unwillingness to try and finish guys who are hurt.

I think Pac could easily win this fight by knockout if he wanted to. I don't think he has wanted to knock out anyone since the last Marquez fight. Maybe Mayweather but that was a one time thing.

Khan has been badly hurt and KO'ed multiple times. Manny has fought Clottey, Mosley, Rios, JMM etc guys who have never been badly hurt or KO'ed. Even Algieri got through Provodnikov's punches and had never been stopped. Khan had more offensive gifts than almost all of those guys, but his durability is nowhere near them. He's more of a Terry Norris or Junior Jones in that regard.

Pac's 'unwillingness' to finish people is a complete myth.

It's no coincidence the guys he didn't finish, have never been finished in the ring. What are you guys expecting him to do when he hurts someone, change who he is and become a brawler? He does now what he done in his prime, look back at the Cotto fight, he hurt Cotto and applied the correct amount of pressure to take him out late. It wasn't his unwillingness that delayed it, it was his inability to cut off the ring. The likes of Mosley, Margarito and Rios are much more durable and have better survival skills, that's why they survive. Pacquiao isn't stupid, he's not wasting energy trying to knock out these guys who have granite chins.

He clearly hurt Mayweather and reacted how any fighter would, by immediately backing him up on the ropes and launching at least 20 punches his way. Floyd weathered it because he has great recovery skills and a great defense. Khan has neither of these things, he's worse in this regard than anyone Pac has fought in a long time. Pacquiao has tried to finish most of his opponents, they were able to survive something Khan will not be able to survive.

This is the first time in a long time Pac is fighting someone he knows has a poor chin. He's experienced it first hand, knocking Khan out in sparring more than once if you believe the stories.

Pac isn't going to need to try and finish Khan in this fight, it will happen naturally. Pacquiao is fighitng someone who will come right at him and he'll land the counter that will hurt him badly.

If you think those guys have never been hurt badly you've missed out on LOTS of great fights.

I like it! Would be an exciting fight

Pac's 'unwillingness' to finish people is a complete myth.

A myth that he himself has said was a problem for him multiple times? A myth his nearly lifelong trainer has said was an issue publicly again and again? A myth they both occasionally say has been changed and that he has his killer instinct back only to use it as a reason yet again post-fight for not going for the finish?

Like a lot of other people here have said the last time he really went in for the kill he ate a counter shot that put him to sleep. Which is a pretty good reason not to do that again.

Interesting fight. I hope they make it happen in the middle easy. It gets old seeing fights in Vegas all the time. That goes for UFC as well.

Hopefully Pac can win this and Mayweather will give him the rematch.

Holding it overseas to avoid drug testing? Expect a "revitalized" Manny Pacquiao to KO Khan and set up Mayweather II.

Manny is known for saying alot of made up shit

Khan is just going to use the shoulder roll is all slim.

Hopefully Khan's gameplan includes Pac having a devastating career ending shoulder injury after the fight.

Puo3 probably posted it somewhere in the boxing forum. But manny was just quoted saying he never saw a dr for his rotator cuff and just swam in the ocean and the saltwater healed him
Hahahahaha

Pac/Algieri v2. This might have been more interesting if Pac/Algieri hadn't already taken place.
