So, really, the idiot improperly stored/secured everything while transporting it all. Essentially making it concealment without a license to carry.

But because it's Jersey, they are gonna slap him with all these felonies instead of using common sense.

Just a case of one idiot and an entire state apparatus lacking common sense.

"A search of the vehicle found a Marlin firearms bolt-action rifle, a Colt M4 carbine assault rifle with collapsible stock with pistol grip, a Palmetto State Armory AR-15 assault rifle with collapsible stock with pistol grip, a C2 Arms handgun and one Ruger handgun."

Well, what do you know. An actual assault rifle. Media got it right for a change. That's a first. Then the journalist of course has to fuck it up in the very next sentence by also labeling the AR-15 as an assault rifle...

TS should change the topic to "PA man found with an actual assault rifle in his truck". Would be more news worthy.

Also, I didn't understand the part about firearms ID card. Was he licensed to possess the guns or not?

Risking 28 years in prison for transporting something you have bought legally in your car?

Locked up, behind or under a seat or in a trunk where the police cant see them. I personally think it's stupid, but that's the law until someone manages to get a nationwide reciprocity law passed.

Good lord, man. Same here. When reading this, I’m thinking, “That’s not very many guns.”

Yeah, if you confined yourself to a mop closet for the rest of your life, you'd have the same assurances. But I'd still feel badly for you for spending your life in a mop closet.

If you believe he is actually gonna serve 28 years in prison I have a bridge to sell you. Whether the penalty should be that harsh in the first place is another matter but he ain't serving that much time.

Whats wrong with Ruger? I have a gunsite scout and a 357 magnum revolver. Both are damn nice.

Federal law trumps state law: "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Well if it's that simple he should just use that argument in court. He'll be acquitted in no time!

That's the thing. I know many people that have "arsenals" that have never committed a crime in their life, but are now living as "felons" per the Leftist view of the world.

    It's fascism.
