Completely disregarded about 80% of what Aldo had to say during such a time of emotion.

He basically stated at the end that he feels that Holloway is a great champion but he feels like he has much more to offer and will be monitoring the situation between him and his next fight (Ortega) and is more than willing to work his way back up.

If someone can post up the post fight interview I’d be glad to translate

***UPDATE***

FULL INTERVIEW SUMMARY:

Aldo’s answer to first question: thanks his supporters. “It was an immense pleasure fighting in Canada, it was here where I started my UFC career, and here where it’s reborn.”

Answer to second question: Jeremy Stephens is a very dangerous opponent and a hard fight. I knew I could’ve possibly lost the fight at any point against him so I connected and finished the fight.

Answer to third question: says he wants to be back soon. That Holloway is the rightful champ and a great one at that. He knows he’s going through a difficult time but he wishes him a recovery so he can come back. Wants to work his way to the title and fight Max or whoever holds the belt.

Aldo talked so much and the translator gave one line answers. Couldn’t understand any of the Portuguese but could tell it was bad translating

That translator was absolute dogshit. Aldo was talking for a minute straight and the guy just says a sentence.

The UFC youtube channel will probably post the interview soon.

I thought it was rather odd that Aldo spoke a few full sentences and the translator basically said nothing.

That’s what I was thinking too. His translations were super short and even tho I heard Aldo mention Holloway’s name, the translator didn’t mention him at all.

Definitely thought he missed some stuff, thanks for translations

Agree. He completely ROBBED the fans of a heartfelt Aldo interview.

I recall him being very thankful to his fans and most of all Canada where he began his UFC career. Also about the massive crowd support there for him.

Again if it’s out I can attempt to better translate.

He’s usually very short spoken but tonight dude really opened up. He was in the zone.

Yeah, I noticed that shit too...the guy just wanted to get the fuck out of the octagon. lol

Yeah the translator was not performing well...

I think I could hear Aldo saying that he’d like to come back to Canada, hoped Max is well and that he’s a great champion to him and hopes that they can meet again. That’s when the translator said something like ‘yeah i need to keep it going’ ? Lol

No doubt, dude was udder garbage at his job.

I care about a lot of stuff such as weather, my toenail getting too long and Dusin beating the shit out of Eddie.

How badly Aldo's post fight interview was translated would be the last thing I care about.
