A lot of peoples analysis of this fight seems to be "Overeem was outstriking Ben until Ben came back and won"

That's not how I interpreted it. It's true technically, Overeem landed more than Rothwell but that's because Ben didn't really give a shit. He knew he could take his best shot.

As soon as the fight starts, Ben gives no fucks, nonchalantly holds up his hands and stalks Overeem the entire duration of the fight. Overeem landed a few strikes, including leg kicks, but Big Ben pretty much ate them like a sandwich. Rothwell was just timing an uppercut and overhand the entire time, and even managed to wobble the fuck out of Reem with said uppercut before the actual KO even happened. Pretty much Overeem got fucking destroyed.

Makes you wonder how in the world Ben managed to lose a fight against Gonzaga where both of them looked like they were sleepwalking.
