When I watched the fight with Bones DC did exactly what I predicted he would do the first 2 rounds at least. He showed superior boxing and the ability to hit and do damage he had Jones rocked a few times and lost-but Jones has that X factor that made him keep focused and not let it phase him while I noticed DC seemed to kind of give in to Bonez not being broken, and fighting strong.

In the corner Bonez looked focused while DC just looked beat and defeated he was leaning forward looking at the ground like he lost the fight already I think I noticed this between rounds 4-5.

My opinion of DC may seem biased but I based my sig off the performances and skill i've seen from DC..Once again Bonez looks like a new guy only doing moves but it works for him and his height/reach must really be a big factor since it seems to get to everyone.

DC vs anyone in Top 5 will be a good match. I've never seen DC break before so that was very discouraging as a fan to the see that, I hope he finds his confidence.

cormier gives up way too much size, IMO. he's strong and reasonably fast but how can carrying around an extra 20 lbs be good for him?

Better at HW. Looked drained pretty quick against Jones. If he wants to stay at LHW he should go on a diet and lose 15-20 pounds.

Tremendous athlete and competitor. Don't knock him for losing to Jones whatsoever.

I want DC to fight some real 205ers now no "who am I Cummins" no seniors discount I came in a little light Dan Henderson. Lets put Gus, Rumble, Rashad, Bader, Glover, on his dinner list see if he eats or chokes.
See if DC can stand up to body shots from that murders row, I think Jon is the best fighter at 205, but he don't have the hammer power like some of these guys. If Rumble dugged a body shot deep into Cormier's softness he would leave a deuce in the center of the Bud Light logo.

He should stay at HW where his opponents are slower.

He'd be a boss 5-10 years ago in the division but now you have to be a complete MMA fighter like Jones, Gus etc. He missed his chance IMO, he's also too small to make an impact in the division.

Hes doing great for a guy his age with health problems after all the weight cuts (and god knows what he did before those olympics that gave him kidney failure)

He did well vs the best fighter in Jones for first 3 rounds - thats gotta count for something right - but couldn't handle it for much longer. He has technique and speed, even his reach is not a problem, but his body is not allowing him to fight at 100% and withstand a beating for longer.

    Jones>Gus>DC > rest of 205 division

I would love to see DC vs Gus. Fight will probably happen if Rumble beats Gus.

to me DC smashed Jon a lot more. JJ just have a lot of chin. Im surprised he didn't fall from all the uppercuts DC gave him. You can only beat JJ with submission. His chin is too strong...

Him Jones and Gus are top 3. Jones obv. no 1 atm.

I also think that he doesn't deserve to be called "black Fedor" after his fight with Jones.

He gave Jones a good fight. I would like to see him fight the loser of Gus-Rumble.
