Over/Under 9.5…Ian Garry’s Takedown attempts tonight

I’m taking over 9.5 TD attempts from Ian… he’ll have to average at least 2 attempts per round in order to avoid a standup fight and squeak out a decision. What do you all think?

That number is too high he would be smart to mix in takedowns but he won’t average 2 every round against a big dude like Prates.

Hopefully his early attempts get shut down so hard that he has to give up on that whole gameplan altogether...so we can then be treated with backtracking and potshotting for a solid 5 rounds.

under 9.5 I think he will do a lot of pitter patter strikes and circle the cage, if he fails a takedown he won't disengage and immediately shoot another one, he will just try to grab a clinch and hold onto prates. I'd be surprised if he shoots more than 9.5 takedowns

I think Garry might stall against the fence. He has a judo background. He favors the clinch.
