Has anybody watched the first episode of Outcast. I liked it quite a bit and I think it has the potential to be great. I loved the possession scenes and I feel like it will have some really scary scenes in future.

"Created and co-executive produced by Robert Kirkman ("The Walking Dead"), the drama series "Outcast" stars Patrick Fugit ("Gone Girl") as Kyle Barnes, a man who has been possessed by demons since he was young. His search for answers -- and redemption -- leads him into a relationship with Reverend Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is fighting in a holy war against Earth's evil forces. As Barnes sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt, he begins to delve into secrets from his past. What he discovers could be life-changing -- and affect the fate of the world forever."

Been meaning to give this a watch.

Saw the first episode. Thought it was pretty good and looks like it has some potential for sure.

Ep 2 was out Friday. Good show, hope it continues being a cool / dark / slow burn.

First episode was really good. I'm hooked so far. Wonder which direction they will take this show

Demon Possession TV series? My favorite theme for supernatural horror genre. Damn.. I'm in, will probably torrent it tml to watch it.

EDIT:

0.152m for viewership? WTF? This is the lowest I ever seen for a TV series. I presume this Cinemax isn't a popular channel.

Yeah, that's pretty low.

However, one of the greatest TV shows I've ever seen, Rectify, regularly does less viewership than that per episode; and yet somehow, it is going into its 4th and final season this fall. (it airs on the Sundance channel.)

And yeah, Cinemax is known, but it is small. HBO is to UFC, as Cinemax is to WSOF.

Show is super slow but I feel like theres bout to be some super fucked up shit goin down

Show is not my cup of tea, but I turned my lesbian friend onto it, and she loves it.

It is kind of slow but still entertaining nonetheless.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on in this show. So the dude can exorcize demons out of people by beating the shit out them?
