First Quarter-Finals
Second Quarter-Finals
Third Quarter-Finals

Last of the Quarter-Finals, onto Semi-Finals next.

Both inside and outside the cage. The most well respected overall.

My choices:

Gilbert Burns
GSP
Benson Henderson

Easy like Sunday morning

Noguiera - His strength of competition is arguably the best at HW, let alone MMA, right next to Dan Henderson. I have more admiration for him as a fighter than his peer in Fedor. He’s doing a lot for up and comers for South America currently working with the UFC.

Anderson Silva - GOAT MW, his title reign was exciting besides a few boring ones, overall, he’s the GOAT MW and a real martial artist

GSP - GOAT WW ever and no one’s even close, he inspired a generation of fighters and a constant professional.

Silva and GSP are a lock, no matter how many argue for or against, they are in the goat conversation.

The 3rd was difficult because everyone else was pretty equal with respect. I'd say Bendo is fastest rising because people realize he brought calf kicks. But I'm going with Bas just for how iconic and well respected his time in Pride was for the development in mma.

I picked Benson, GSP, and junior.

Just cant imagine people saying bad things about these 3

I picked GSP, Big Nog, and Gaethje but honestly, I should have replaced him with Anderson. I was torn, and got caught up in recency bias.

Easiest one yet IMO

Silva and GSP are shoo-ins and I think Bas is comfortably ahead of the rest of the pack.

Maybe it's my age showing but I'm shocked bas isn't more highly rated here

I mean even Silva is barely ahead of Big Nog which is insane lol. No idea what people are voting based on. When I was coming in as an MMA fan in the early-mid 2000s people talked about Bas like he was Jordan/Brady/Gretzky of MMA he was THAT dude

Gsp
Silva are just shoe ins here. I chose jds over nog because I think he would beat nog prime for prime. Nog has a better career though

Really seems like as time goes on, people only think the current group of fighters matter. It takes ridiculous records to keep their name in the running.

Fighter, commentator, he's got jokes, made popular video content, he is "el guapo", no ko loses.

I also voted Silva though I was not a fan and GSP.

damn he's getting scorched by Big Nog. all respect to Big Nog I do not agree with my fellow sherdoggers here

Big nog had a hell of a career in the ring and cage, but I know next to nothing about him outside of fighting
