If you had to only go off what fighters look like, he looked like the GOAT more than anyone else. Which I think essentially this contest is turning into.

If you had to only go off what fighters look like, he looked like the GOAT more than anyone else. Which I think essentially this contest is turning into.

Just because he cheated. Cheating and respect are polar opposites.

The fact he got a pass to cheat as champion then UFC threw him into the trash after he was dethroned is also not the best look in terms of organizational corruption.

It's the roids I bet, that lost him respect...not too much though because he compensates for that loss with a great tma attitude and discipline mostly as well as he did suffer a leg break which doesn't justify it but helps empathize with his case

It's not just getting busted, it's being so desperate to make excuses he actually claimed to be impotent. And it's not just that, it's turning into a decision machine right after losing the mandatory immediate title rematch. At that point AS was clearly just hanging around for the money and his heart was no longer in it.

Compare and contrast to how others on this list went out. Khabib literally never lost. GSP went out on top and on his terms. Lawler went out like a warrior. Fedor...didn't do anything to really embarrass himself. MM only left UFC because Dana wanted him gone for years and he just wouldn't lose the title.
