What do you think? I'm interested in all 3 of these fights. But I gotta be honest, I've been thinking a lot about Holloway vs Elkins since Sunday night. This fight really interests me. I think of all top contenders right now at 145, Elkins could be a really tough fight for the champ. Elkins is extremely durable, has good cardio, good takedowns, grappling, submissions, and just has that never say die, always come forward gritty style. Elkins is a damn tough fight for pretty much everyone in that division. Aside from Frankie of course I think he might the toughest fight for Max right now, and I'd love to see this fight. I'd obvious lean toward Max if it were to happen. Especially in the earlier rounds, but man what a great fight this could be.

Thoughts?

Ortega. Max is made to ruin guys like Elkins forever. Not sure why Emmett is even in this discussion.

Going with the hot hand. Ortega. Would get pieced up standing. But if it gets close... watch out. Don't let him get anywhere near your neck.

He smokes all of them but I'd give the best chance to Ortega, who has pretty lethal submissions. He could catch Max in a scramble.

Elkins is awesome, but Max would light him up all day and all night. Elkins has no advantage over someone with a half decent ground game. He has the heart of 1000 men, which helps a lot. His stand up is very bad. Ortega is way more of a threat than Elkins will ever be. Love em tho.

Ortega can box and can snatch a submission anytime anywhere. He gets my vote

max must fight them all, the way aldo took on everyone

Ortega is the most dangerous matchup. Emmett seems like a potentially difficult matchup. He's tough to dominate, like Dodson. And Elkins seems like the easiest matchup, although he'd probably break Max's spirit after eating 100 significant strikes and still marching forward.

T-City got a real good chance of dethroning Max.

ortega. the other two shouldn't even be mentioned

Emmett, he's durable, well rounded, hits hard, and doesnt quit. Tough mofo.

I agree with TS. Elkins has the durability to withstand Max's assault but more importantly Elkins has good takedowns.

I am still not sold on Max's takedown defense and ground game. I think Elkins would get hit quite a bit in the first round especially but I believe by the 2nd or 3rd round he could drag Max to the ground and keep him there. I think he could rough him up and possibly finish him late or at the least get a close decision.

If it does go the distance, the 3rd round would be the deciding factor because there is a good chance Max wins the first two and a good chance Elkins starts slow but comes back strong

Elkins would be the easiest for him imo, I wouldn't even see him defeating Jeremy Stephens in a rematch

Id like to see Emmett vs Jury or even Elkins vs Jury

Ortega would prob get my vote in toughest match due to the different level of Jitz and all it takes is one slip.

Max pieces up Elkins and Emmett, and would also pick apart Ortega
